It was a fun weekend. It was a busy weekend.
Friday I stopped on my way home from work at Harriet Brewing, a cool little micro brewery with a Tap Room that's open Wednesday through Saturday and often has live music. Had some fun, mostly travel related, conversations with some folks I met there. Needless to say, my short stop became longer than intended. Beer does make for a no-fat dinner.
Saturday evening was the Twin Cities Gay Men's Chorus Pride concert. It was the final concert before the Artistic Director's retirement. Stan has led the chorus for 12 years, it was an emotional event. Next season begins with a new Artistic Director who was in attendance Saturday for the passing of the baton.
I woke up earlier than intended this morning, laying in bed and not realizing the time until my alarm didn't go off as expected. That extra hour would have been the perfect time for some jo action, only having access to the plastic cage down there just doesn't do it. I seem to be reminded of that at the most inopportune time.
